Family Weekend

Lilianna is so loved, and I'm so proud of her. At daycare, they say she is wonderful and hardly cries. I love it! I want her to be happy while she is there. I speed to pick her up because I get so impatient to see her.

This last weekend she was spoiled with love by her grandparents. We love talking about how much she is changing. She loves to coo, and it's easy to get her to smile! :) However, it's hard to catch that shining moment on camera sometimes!

Daycare Days

My first week back was very hard because we had parent teacher conferences. I hardly had time to hold her each night, and that was very hard on me. However, Jamie loved it! He had lots of time to hold her and play! He is such a wonderful Daddy, and I'm extremely proud of him!

Shots

Lilianna went to the doctor today for her two month checkup. She is in the 97% for height, and she is in the 75% for weight. So, she is long and skinny like how her parents used to be! Ha!
Before they gave her her shots, she was in great spirits!!!!
When she got home, Daddy made it all better!

Flies

Besides tipping over Jamie's flies, it's been a good day!!! I did spend two hours reorganizing the box to redeem myself!

Lilianna Sleeps

Daisy barked like crazy this afternoon, and Lilianna never woke up!!! Yay!

Playtime

Lilianna loves to play on her play mat each day. She kicks the toys, and they make noises! I've really enjoyed watching her learn how to make them make noises herself. She is more content on this play mat than she is in the swing and bouncy chair.

My Baby Girl

I think I will be better at blogging now that I know I can add pictures from my iPhone. That's going to be so much easier for me! It will give me something to do when I'm nursing late at night!

2 Month Picture

I've been taking her picture each month using these images I bought!

She Looks Like Her Dad

Lilianna looks so much like her dad!! I love it! Also, Jamie is the BEST father!! I'm so proud of him!! He holds her when I cook, brings her to me when I'm tired, helps give her baths, puts her to sleep sometimes, makes her smile, plays games with her, and changes her diapers. The only thing he doesn't do is nurse her! Ha!

2 Months Old

Lilianna is growing up so fast! It's going to be very hard to return to work. Jamie had a hard time, and I know I will. At this time, I don't know when I'll be returning. All of the snow days keep pushing back my return date.

Here's an update on Lilianna:

- She is cooing a lot lately, and she loves to smile at her daddy. She smiles for me too, but she loves to smile at him. Also, she loves to smile at her elephant when I'm changing her diaper.

- She is beginning to be able to see further. Tonight, her eyes followed me as I walked around the living room. I was so proud of her.

- She is more alert when she is awake, and she really seems to enjoy observing life.

- She weighs 11 pounds and 9 ounces.

- She's always trying to find her thumb! She doesn't like pacifiers. I'm working on this because I would rather her suck on a pacifier.

Right now we sing two songs to her.

1. L -I-L-I-A-N-N-A, Lilianna likes to play. (Daddy made that up, and she LOVES it!)
2. Doris Day "A Bushel and a Peck" (This is what I sing to her.)

We love this picture, but Daisy has already attacked the Snoopy doll. We are going to have to do a better job of separating Daisy and Lilianna's toys.

I forgot that I had this Bumbo to put Lilianna in now that she is older! She does well in it for about three minutes. Then, her head falls. I'm glad my mother-in-law reminded me to pull it out and try it!!! I think Lilianna will be able to use it a little bit longer, but I'm afraid she's going to outgrow it quickly.

It's been snowing a lot in NWA!!! When we took this picture, we ran out, took the picture, and ran back inside! I love this hat. It's her Abby Cadaby hat!!

This is my favorite picture! This was the first time I saw her smile. She's so beautiful, and I'm so blessed to have her.

I've been taking so many pictures of her because I want to remember every moment of her at this age. Also, I went and bought a Flip Camera, and I love it. We've made many films, but we don't post them because neither of us look good in them. I keep telling Jamie we don't have to dress up. The films are just for us to have to remember her, and if we dressed up for every film, we wouldn't have many.

Hopefully, I'll start to do a better job of updating this blog!
Stay warm,
Kim
