2 Months Old

Lilianna is growing up so fast! It's going to be very hard to return to work. Jamie had a hard time, and I know I will. At this time, I don't know when I'll be returning. All of the snow days keep pushing back my return date.

Here's an update on Lilianna:

- She is cooing a lot lately, and she loves to smile at her daddy. She smiles for me too, but she loves to smile at him. Also, she loves to smile at her elephant when I'm changing her diaper.

- She is beginning to be able to see further. Tonight, her eyes followed me as I walked around the living room. I was so proud of her.

- She is more alert when she is awake, and she really seems to enjoy observing life.

- She weighs 11 pounds and 9 ounces.

- She's always trying to find her thumb! She doesn't like pacifiers. I'm working on this because I would rather her suck on a pacifier.

Right now we sing two songs to her.

1. L -I-L-I-A-N-N-A, Lilianna likes to play. (Daddy made that up, and she LOVES it!)
2. Doris Day "A Bushel and a Peck" (This is what I sing to her.)

We love this picture, but Daisy has already attacked the Snoopy doll. We are going to have to do a better job of separating Daisy and Lilianna's toys.

I forgot that I had this Bumbo to put Lilianna in now that she is older! She does well in it for about three minutes. Then, her head falls. I'm glad my mother-in-law reminded me to pull it out and try it!!! I think Lilianna will be able to use it a little bit longer, but I'm afraid she's going to outgrow it quickly.

It's been snowing a lot in NWA!!! When we took this picture, we ran out, took the picture, and ran back inside! I love this hat. It's her Abby Cadaby hat!!

This is my favorite picture! This was the first time I saw her smile. She's so beautiful, and I'm so blessed to have her.

I've been taking so many pictures of her because I want to remember every moment of her at this age. Also, I went and bought a Flip Camera, and I love it. We've made many films, but we don't post them because neither of us look good in them. I keep telling Jamie we don't have to dress up. The films are just for us to have to remember her, and if we dressed up for every film, we wouldn't have many.

Hopefully, I'll start to do a better job of updating this blog!
Stay warm,
Kim
